A year later and I'm still enjoying this album. I listen on the road, at home in my library/studio, when I need inspiration, solace, or to be energized (thus my favorite track!) The musicianship is superb and one can tell that heart, soul, and talent were poured into this project. Sola Deo Gloria, and happy new year Frank and company!
Favorite track: Cats in the Bakery.
What a lovely album this is. I always was a lover of instrumental music (Mike Oldfield -Tubular Bells / Incantations etc). Frank is a fantastic musician with a lot of talent who did a fantastic job with the band Iona and who knows how to create an emotional atmosphere in his music. This album is a very fine example of this talent. It reaches my heart and that is, in my opinion, what good music should do!
Favorite track: A Million Stars.
Frank's incredible percussive talents undergird a rich lyrical fabric that he creates with his wonderful violin and keyboards. He is joined by masterfully skilled friends on guitars, bass, Uillean pipes, Irish whistles and flutes. It all makes for one of the best albums in recent years. Give it a listen, see if you agree.
Favorite track: Labyrinth.

"Art such as this is so needed in our society today and this is so beautifully crafted, it literally arrests your attention, not just your ears. Frank injects such beauty in this recording that a sense of wonderment is recaptured even in those of us who may have lived a few too many years and let wonder escape unnoticed". - Donny Limbert
"Congratulations!! Its incredibly beautiful and artistic. It takes you to another world"! - Anneriet

"It is extremely rare to find a top class drummer play violin so beautifully. Add to that composer, arranger and producer
skills, and you can imagine that the musical result will be somewhat special. Frank van Essen is such a musician. Known for his powerful drumming & violin playing for UK band Iona and his strings for DJ Martin Garrix, he is venturing out into a whole musical world of his own"....more
